What Is the Daily Room Schedule?
The Daily Room Schedule provides a calendar view of all operating rooms for the current day, showing which cases are scheduled in each room along with key details. This helps clinical and administrative staff prepare for upcoming procedures and verify that recording assignments are in place.
How to Access the Schedule
You can access the Daily Room Schedule in two ways:
- Rooms page -- Navigate to Rooms > Schedule (
https://app.theator.io/rooms/schedule) from the main navigation bar. - System Monitoring -- Navigate to System > Monitoring > Room Schedule (
https://app.theator.io/system/monitoring/room-schedule). This view is designed for venue admins and IT staff who monitor the infrastructure alongside the schedule.
Reading the Schedule
The schedule displays a row for each operating room, with scheduled cases shown as blocks along a timeline:
- Room name -- Each row is labeled with the operating room name.
- Case blocks -- Each scheduled case appears as a colored block showing the time window.
- Procedure type -- The type of procedure is displayed within each case block.
- Surgeon name -- The assigned surgeon is shown for each case.
- Time -- Start and end times are indicated for every scheduled procedure.
Using the Schedule Effectively
- Check room assignments -- Verify that the correct rooms are assigned to each surgeon and procedure before the day begins.
- Identify gaps -- Spot unscheduled time slots or overlapping bookings.
- Verify recording readiness -- Confirm that rooms with scheduled cases have active Theator units ready to record.
- Navigate to cases -- Click on any scheduled case block to open the case details directly.
Date Navigation
Use the date picker at the top of the page to view the schedule for a different day. By default, the schedule shows today's date. You can navigate forward or backward to review past or upcoming schedules.
Who Can Access This Page?
The Daily Room Schedule is available to all users with access to the Rooms page. The System Monitoring version is available to venue admins, site admins, and IT administrators.
