Rooms Monitoring helps you keep your operating rooms online and running smoothly. Available under System > Monitoring in the left sidebar (for administrators), this section provides a comprehensive set of tools for tracking the health and status of your Theator-connected operating rooms and hardware units.

Monitoring Sub-Pages
The monitoring section is organized into several sub-pages, each focused on a different aspect of your operating room infrastructure:
Overview
A summary dashboard that gives you the status of all rooms and units at a glance. Quickly identify any rooms or units that need attention without drilling into individual pages.
Rooms
A per-room view of connectivity, video signal, and recording status. For each room, you can check:
- Connection Status — Whether the room's unit is connected and ready.
- Network Monitoring — Network strength and stability, so you can spot and resolve issues before they impact surgery.
- Video Stream Check — Whether live video streams are active and functioning, ensuring recording and monitoring continue without interruption.
Units
Status of each Theator hardware unit deployed at your site. View details including:
- Online or offline status
- Firmware version
- Last communication timestamp
- Unit health indicators
Room Schedule
The daily operating room schedule, showing planned cases for each room. Use this to understand expected activity and verify that rooms are prepared for upcoming procedures.
Recording Coverage
Tracks what percentage of scheduled cases were successfully recorded by the Theator system. This is a key metric for understanding how effectively the platform is capturing surgical data across your operating rooms.
Technician
Tools and status information designed for on-site technical support staff. This page provides the details technicians need to diagnose and resolve hardware or connectivity issues in the field.
