Overview
Theator is available on iOS and Android devices, providing a native-like mobile experience optimized for on-the-go access. Whether you want to quickly review a case between procedures or check your performance metrics, the mobile app gives you the tools you need from your phone or tablet.
How to Install and Access
The Theator mobile app can be accessed in the following ways:
- Download from the App Store or Google Play -- Search for "Theator" and install the app on your device.
- Open in a mobile browser -- You can also access Theator through your mobile browser by navigating to the platform URL. The interface will automatically adapt to your screen size.
Sign in using the same credentials you use on desktop. If your organization uses Single Sign-On (SSO), the mobile app supports that as well.
Mobile Navigation
On mobile, the main navigation uses a bottom tab bar with the following tabs:
- Home -- Your personalized feed of recent cases and activity.
- Rooms -- View operating room status and live activity.
- AI Assistant -- Access the AI-powered assistant for quick queries (if enabled for your organization).
- Performance Profile -- View your personal surgical performance metrics and analytics.
Features Available on Mobile
The mobile experience includes the core features you use most:
- Browse cases -- Scroll through your case list, search for specific cases, and open case details.
- Watch recordings -- Play back surgical recordings with full video controls.
- View your Performance Profile -- Review your surgical metrics, trends, and benchmarks.
- Access the AI Assistant -- Ask questions about your cases or get surgical insights on the go.
- Receive push notifications -- Stay informed about new recordings, shared cases, comments, and other activity.
Key Differences from Desktop
While the mobile app covers the most important workflows, there are a few differences compared to the desktop experience:
- Simplified navigation -- The mobile app uses a bottom tab bar instead of the full sidebar navigation.
- Optimized layouts -- Pages are reformatted for smaller screens, with some advanced features accessible through menus rather than being displayed at all times.
- Touch interactions -- Video playback and timeline navigation are adapted for touch gestures.
For the full feature set, including advanced analytics, system administration, and detailed configuration, use the desktop version of Theator.
