Writing Case self-reflection

Recognizing the importance of self-reflection in surgical practice, the 'Case Recap' feature provides a dedicated space for surgeons to analyze and document their performance after each procedure. Situated at the top right of the Case Page, above the surgery events timeline, this tool encourages thoughtful evaluation and continuous professional development.

How to Use the 'Case self-reflection' Feature:

1. Navigate to the Case Page: Select the specific case you want to review. You can only recap cases you've participated in.
2. Access the 'Case self-reflection' Section: Locate the 'Case self reflection' section at the top right corner of the page, above the timeline of surgery events.
3. Write Your Recap: In the provided text field, enter a summary of your performance. You may include insights on what went well, challenges faced, and areas for improvement.
4. Submit Your reflection: After completing your summary, submit it to save your reflections. This recap will be archived with your case details for future reference and analysis.

The 'Case Recap' is entirely private and visible only to you. This ensures that your self-assessments remain confidential, providing a secure environment for honest and personal reflection.

By regularly using the 'Case Recap' feature, surgeons can build a valuable repository of personal case studies, fostering growth and excellence in their surgical practice.
