The AI Assistant returns rich answers — tables, charts, case analyses, and video clips. Once you have an answer you like, there are a few ways to reuse it: copy the text, capture a chart, download a case video, or export case data to a spreadsheet. This article explains each option and calls out what is not available yet.
Copy a Response
Every completed answer has a Copy response button beneath it. Click it to copy the response to your clipboard, then paste the text into a note, an email, or a document. When the copy succeeds, the button briefly shows a Copied confirmation and then returns to its normal state.
The Copy response button copies the text of the answer. Table rows rendered in the conversation are not included in the copy — to get table data, use the Export button in the table's toolbar, which downloads the rows as a CSV file. To reuse a chart as a picture, use the screenshot approach below.
Save or Share a Chart
Charts appear as visual graphics inside the conversation. There is no per-chart download button, so to keep a chart as an image, take a screenshot of the chart area using your operating system's screenshot tool.
If you want to share the underlying cases rather than a picture of a chart, ask the assistant to gather them into a collection — for example, "Collect these cases into a learning collection." Once the collection is created, you can share it with your team. See Finding Technique Clips and Building a Learning Collection with the AI Assistant for how to build a collection from the chat.
Download a Case Video or Clip
You can ask the assistant to download a case video or a specific clip — for example, "Download the video for my last case" or "Download the critical view of safety clip from this case." The assistant shows a confirmation card, and once you approve it, the download starts. The assistant downloads the recording for the selected procedure. If a case has multiple recordings and you need them joined into a single file, use the case page download workflow instead — see the article linked below.
For the full walkthrough, including downloading from the case page itself, see How can I download the case recording or a clip?.
Export Case Data to a Spreadsheet
When you need to pull many cases into a spreadsheet — for example, a list of cases with their operative times and other fields — the Research Hub is the built-in workspace for gathering and downloading tabular case data. It lets you assemble a set of cases, choose the fields you need, and download the result.
To learn how, see Using the Research Hub and Data Export for Clinical Research.
What Is Not Available Yet
There is currently no one-click option to export an entire AI Assistant conversation as a PDF. To save the parts you need, use the Copy response button on each answer and paste them into a document of your own.
