What is the Performance Profile?
The Performance Profile (formerly Surgeon Analytics) is your personal analytics dashboard on Theator. It gives you a comprehensive view of your surgical activity, practice patterns, and outcomes over time. You can access it by clicking Performance Profile in the sidebar, or by navigating to https://app.theator.io/performance-profile.
Case Volume Overview
At the top of the dashboard you will see a summary of your total case volume:
- Total cases recorded within the selected time period
- Volume by procedure type — a breakdown of how many cases you performed for each procedure
- Volume over time — a trend chart of your case count over weeks or months
Use the time-range selector at the top of the page to focus on a specific period.
Surgical Practices
The Surgical Practices section shows your adoption rates for evidence-based best practices. Each practice displays a percentage for how often it was observed in your cases, alongside a department comparison so you can see how your rate compares to your peers.
Outcome Comparison
The Outcome Comparison section benchmarks your key metrics against two reference points — the department average and the top 10% of surgeons. Metrics shown include:
- Operative duration — average time from start to finish
- Length of stay — post-operative hospital stay duration
- Idle time — non-operative time during the procedure
Case List
At the bottom of the page you will find a reverse-chronological case list (most recent first) of all your cases in the selected time range. Click any case to open it in the Case page Overview for detailed review.
