Tagging Users in Comments

Tagging users in comments is a powerful way to directly engage with colleagues, seek input, and facilitate collaboration within your organization's surgical intelligence platform.

How to Tag a User:

  1. Navigate to the Comment Section: Access the specific case or discussion thread where you want to leave a comment.

  2. Type the "@" Symbol: Begin typing the "@" symbol followed by the name of the person or team you wish to tag. As you type, a dropdown menu will appear with suggestions based on user names.

  3. Select the user: Choose the surgeon from the dropdown menu by clicking on their name. This will automatically tag them in your comment.

Visibility Settings:

  • Public Tagging: By default, tags are visible to anyone within your organization who has access to the case or discussion thread.

  • Private Tagging: For more confidential discussions, you can use private tagging to limit visibility to the tagged individual and the comment writer.

Un-tagging Users:

If you no longer need to involve a tagged user in a discussion, simply delete the "@" symbol and their name from the comment before submitting.

Tagging users in comments enhances communication and fosters a collaborative environment where stakeholders can share insights, provide feedback, and work together effectively to optimize surgical practices and patient care.
