What is the Case Page?

The case page is the heart of the Theator platform, serving as the central hub for in-depth review, analysis, and collaboration on surgical procedures.

You can open a case page from:

  • The homepage by clicking a case card

  • Search results from the search bar

  • A collection by selecting a case inside that collection

On the case page, you can:

  • Watch the procedure

  • Use timelines and AI insights

  • Add comments and evaluations

  • Review stats and analytics

  • Download clips and generate reports

When you open a case, the recorded procedure is displayed in the center of the page, along with important details such as the procedure type, participants, and case ID.

You’ll also see a built-in video player that lets you move through the case using arrows and adjust the playback speed to your preference.

To the left, you’ll find your procedure playlist, a list of all your recorded cases, making it easy to switch between them without leaving the page.

To the right of the video, you’ll find the Timeline. This is where our AI goes to work. It automatically breaks the procedure down into structured steps, events, and milestones. These are specific, clinically relevant moments identified by our models.

Each event is timestamped, so clicking on any item in the timeline takes you directly to that moment in the video. This makes it fast and efficient to review your work, follow up on specific steps, or find key moments without watching the entire case.

The timeline also adds clinical context:

Green highlights represent positive events, like adherence to best practices or successful repair steps.

Red highlights call out complications or concerns, such as a detected injury or leak, so you can quickly identify and reflect on them.
