Introduction

Welcome to the guide for the new "Case Stats" feature. This powerful addition to our platform provides comprehensive analytics for each case, allowing surgeons to benchmark their performance and identify areas for improvement.

Accessing Case Stats

To access the "Case Stats" feature, navigate to the case page. You will find a new tab labeled "Case Stats" where all relevant statistics are displayed.

Key Features

1. Case Duration

Displays the total time taken for the case, providing an overview of the surgical procedure's length.

2. Step Duration

Provides a detailed breakdown of the time taken for each step in the surgery. This helps in identifying which steps are consuming the most time.

3. Idle Time

Shows the amount of time the surgeon was idle, both in-body and out-of-body. This metric is crucial for identifying inefficiencies during the procedure.

4. Instrument Usage (Robotic Cases)

For robotic surgeries, this section offers a detailed breakdown of instrument usage:

  • Active Time: When the tool was connected to the robot and moving.

  • Static Time: When the tool was connected to the robot but not moving.

  • Functional Time: When the tool was using energy.

5. Performance Benchmarks

Compare your performance with various benchmarks:

  • Specific Case: Metrics specific to the current case.

  • Surgeon's Average: Your average metrics over all cases.

  • Departmental Average: The average metrics of your department.

  • Top 10th Percentile: Benchmarks from the top 10% of performers.
